The purpose of the Code is to provide guidance and set common ethical standards each of us must adhere to on a consistent basis. It also reinforces the moral principles and commitments of GSI by spelling out acceptable and responsible behavior in a way that is clear to all within the organization.
Additionally, it governs the actions and working relationships of GSIs board members, officers, managers and all other employees of GSIs in dealing with fellow employees, guest, competitors, vendors, suppliers, governmental and self-regulatory agencies, the media and anyone else with whom GSI has contact.
Obeying the law is the foundation on which our reputation and Guiding Principles are built. As a global organization privileged to do business all over the world, we have the responsibility to comply with all of the laws that apply to our businesses and to the laws of the countries we do business with.
